Fireworks + Warm Nights an ACRE Baja Wedding

What makes my clients special is that they know what they want but they are thankful for what they are given in this life. When I think of Kevin and Katie this is what I quickly imagine. Two travelers, connoisseurs of food and art, people who seek the unknown but come with that familiar sense of self that only a couple who can travel together carries. Gratefulness, warmth and a go with the flow attitude. From our first conversation I knew they had a specific vision for their Baja, MX wedding that was sure to be beautiful yet they simultaneously exuded a chill vibe that was infectious.

So many details were hand made by the couple from beautiful favors to personalized name cards for every guest at dinner tucked into the napkins. The message was loud and clear. Let loose, have fun, go big! And that was actualized at the EPIC (sweaty) late night dance party. Kevin and Katie opted for fireworks to surprise their guests at every moment they could (a move that I just downright respect). A peak moment was watching the two first dance to “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” with a curtain of white pyrotechnics exploding behind them. Applause all around!

If you haven’t read my blog post about their venue ACRE, Baja be sure to head over this way and take a peek at our stay there. It’s a treetop getaway and hands down one of the most STUNNING properties my plant loving, animal loving, Mexico loving, design loving eyes have ever set a gaze upon.

And without further adieu here are some of my favorite shots from the bash!
